The track, built in 1992 and modernized again in 2004, is probably the classic for winter training in Spain. Technically quite demanding and varied, the 3.419 km long course is characterized by 18 curves of various radii and some differences in altitude. Located in one of the sunniest regions just an hour south of Alicante, Cartagena also offers tourist highlights with its old town, the deep sea port and the Mar Menor , famous for his salt-lakes.

Almeria Trackline
This is unique! In February 2018, the new Circuito Andalucia was opened in the motorsport area Circuito Costa de Almeria right next to the Circuito de Almeria. In addition, there is the possibility of connecting the two racetracks Circuito Andalucia and Circuito de Almeria.
You can now race the traditional 4,025m Circuito de Almeria, the 5,000m+ Circuito Andalucia or, at very specific events, the 9,200m+ Circuito Iberia 9km.
The track is also popular with various famous Teams for test track in winter.
