The Red Bull Ring, formerly known as the Österreichring or A1 Ring, is a race track in the holiday region of Styria (Austria). The track layout, which has been in use since spring 2011, is characterized by high-speed sections and precise braking points. The ring is closely “leaned” to the landscape, with uphill and downhill sections that are all clearly visible and offer no nasty surprises. In addition to its modern architecture, the facility is recommended for its extensive motorsport museum and impressive catering facilities. The return of the MOTO GP has generated great interest in the track and it has quickly become one of the drivers’ favorites.
